Eating Disorder Treatment
Park Center offers individual therapy and an Intensive Outpatient Program to support clients who want to address their disordered eating. The program serves individuals of all ages and treats all types of eating disorders, such as Binge Eating Disorder, Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa.
In addition to one-on-one treatment, the Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program assists adults in need of more frequent support than typical outpatient services. Individual Outpatient Counseling offers a structured, supportive environment to aid in mental health stability, growth and healing.
Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (ED-IOP)
- 3 hours a day
- 3 days a week
- Individual therapy occurs in addition to/outside group hours
Clients appropriate for the ED-IOP include:
- Adults 18 years of age or older
- Diagnosed with an eating disorder
- Medically stable
- Need more support than typical outpatient therapy
Dr. Laura Oyer is the clinical director of Park Center’s Eating Disorder Treatment Program. She has worked in the field of eating disorders for over 10 years.
New clients may call 260-481-2700 and request an Eating Disorder Initial Assessment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the check-in process. Your first appointment will take 60-90 minutes and will include an evaluation and a discussion about treatment options.
