The Inpatient Unit is staffed with licensed nurses, clinical nurse specialists, psychiatrists, and social workers. The 16 bed unit provides medical and supportive assistance to seriously mentally ill adults in need of hospitalization. Focus is on stabilization and short lengths of stay. As an intern on the Inpatient Unit, you will work with a multidisciplinary team and develop your therapeutic skills under the guidance of a clinical supervisor.
Qualified applicants will be graduate students in social work; although, related degrees may be considered. Students are expected to have a basic knowledge of the DSM-5 and familiarity with conditions treated in a community mental health setting.

The Inpatient Unit will accept applications for those starting an internship January 2020 or later.
