Haven House is a 13 bed co-ed adult group home, staffed by nurses and care managers. Haven House offers a high degree of structure and support to consumers with physical needs and serious mental illness. The program strives to stabilize lives and support individual goals. As an intern at Haven House, you will co-facilitate groups, observe individual skills training, treatment planning, and participate in staffing. You will have the opportunity to directly assist residents with ADL and social skills through games and other activities.
Qualified applicants will be associate or bachelor-level students in human services, psychology, social work, or a related degree. Applicants should possess good written and oral communication skills, as well as professionalism. A general knowledge of mental health issues is preferred.

Haven House will accept applications for those starting an internship January 2020 or later.
