Fort Wayne Outpatient
Fort Wayne Outpatient, located on Park Center’s main campus, offers individual and family therapy for people ages five and older. As an intern in FWOP, you will conduct individual therapy, complete diagnostic assessments, and engage in suicide prevention and intervention, under the guidance of a seasoned clinical supervisor.
Qualified applicants will be graduate students in mental health counseling, marriage and family counseling, social work, or a related degree. Students are expected to have a basic knowledge of the DSM-5 and the ability to formulate diagnostic impressions. Students should possess a theoretical foundation to work from and a knowledge of her/his ethical and professional guidelines. Preference is given to students in their final field placement prior to graduation.
Interested students will find application instructions in the Graduate Internship Manual. Applications, and supporting material, should be emailed at least eight weeks prior to the expected start date.
FWOP will accept applications for those starting an internship May 2020 or later.
