Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment for people diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. As an intern in DBT, you can expect to build your therapeutic skills in individual and group settings, under the guidance of a seasoned clinical supervisor.
Qualified applicants will be graduate students in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related degree. Students are expected to have a basic knowledge of the DSM-5 and familiarity with conditions treated in a community mental health setting. Preference is given to students in their final internship prior to graduation.
Interested students will find application instructions in the Graduate Internship Manual. Applications, and supporting material, should be emailed at least eight weeks prior to the expected start date.
