Carriage House Clubhouse
Carriage House Clubhouse provides rehabilitation services to optimize member’s personal, social, and vocational competency. Carriage House is based on the Clubhouse model. The setting of this program is informal, and a high degree of participation is encouraged in order to reduce barriers between staff and members who participate in the program. As an intern at Carriage House, you will be immersed in the Clubhouse model through interactions with members and guidance provided by an internship supervisor.
Qualified applicants will be associate or bachelor-level students in human services, psychology, social work, or a related field. Applicants should possess good written and oral communication skills, as well as professionalism. A general knowledge of mental health issues is preferred.
Interested students will find application instructions in the Undergraduate Internship Manual. Applications, and supporting material, should be emailed at least eight weeks prior to the expected start date, using the link provided. An interview will be conducted by Carriage House members prior to acceptance. For more information about the program, call Tom Weir at (260) 414-6817.
Carriage House will accept applications for those starting an internship in May 2019.
