Clyde Nix, MA
Chief Executive Officer
Clyde Nix has worked for Park Center since 1996. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Saint Francis; he also holds a Masters Degree in Health and Human Services Administration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Within Park Center, Clyde has held various positions, including Business Office Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Over his tenure at Park Center, Clyde has served on the Corporate Compliance Committee and EMR implementation teams, helped develop MRO training, and performed various audit functions. External roles have included consultation related to billing and integrity, EMR configurations for billing, and an advisory capacity for a university masters curriculum. Clyde has been involved with various initiatives related to the recent growth and expansion of the Park Center continuum of care. When not at Park Center, Clyde likes to spend time with his family, catch a Notre Dame football game, and escape to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Barb Schneider, MSN/INF, RHIT, CHP
Chief Information Officer & Privacy Officer
Barb Schneider began her career at Park Center in 1992 as the Medical Records Manager. She transitioned into the role of Privacy Officer with the implementation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. She continues that role today, along with her duties as Chief Information Officer.
Barb earned an Associate’s Degree in Medical Record Technology, and a Masters in Nurse Informatics. She holds credentials as a Registered Health Information Technician and is Certified in Health Care Privacy, both by the American Health Information Management Association. Barb is also a Registered Nurse.
Sunita Winchester, BS, PHR, SHRM-CP
Vice President of Administrative Services
Sunita Winchester joined Park Center in 2019 as the Vice President of Administrative Services. She has dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Human Resources and Healthcare Administration from Indiana Tech. She has a variety of work experience, most recently in manufacturing, but has held positions in the healthcare field as well.
Sunita has been in Human Resources for 16 years and is passionate about leadership development and strength-building. She recently moved to Fort Wayne and looks forward to participating in local committees. Her pastimes are reading, traveling, and seeking out new experiences with family and friends.
Tonya Eiden, MS, LMHC, MBA, CCEP
Vice President of Quality & Corporate Compliance Officer
During her twenty years at Park Center, Tonya has worked in a variety of positions, beginning as a group home staff, then transitioning to case management, intern, and therapist. Prior to her current position, she was the manager of the Adams County office for nine years.
Tonya has a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. In 2016, she earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Indiana Institute of Technology. She became a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) in 2018. Outside of work, Tonya is an avid reader and traveler.
Brian Flesch, LMFT, LCSW
Vice President of Medical Services
Prior to becoming Vice President of Medical Services, Brian Flesch worked in various mental health settings, including outpatient services, schools, and an inpatient hospital. He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University and is a 1995 graduate of the Gestalt Institute’s Organization and System Development program. Brian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Marriage and Family Therapist.
Brian is most passionate about removing institutional barriers that get in the way of serving our population. When he isn’t at Park Center, Brian enjoys fishing with his family; participating in church activities; reading ancient history and theology in Latin; and hosting 34 to Glory with his son, a podcast about the Chicago Bears.
Sue Hopkins, MSN, MHA, RN, NE-BC
Vice President of Nursing Services
Sue Hopkins has worked at Park Center for over 30 years in a variety of positions, including working with seriously mentally ill adults. Sue holds two Masters’ Degrees from the University of Phoenix: one in Nursing and one in Health Administration. She is also a Registered Nurse and a board certified Nurse Executive through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Over the years, Sue has participated in the development of several projects, including the MRO Billing and Documentation Training, the MRO Audit Team, and Corporate Compliance efforts. Most recently, she participated in the development and implementation of the Inpatient Unit and the Health & Wellness Clinic. In her spare time, Sue enjoys playing violin in the Purdue University Orchestra.
Rich Hite, Ph.D.
Vice President of Adult Community Services
Rich is a licensed psychologist who has worked in a variety of settings providing direct services as well as system-level strategic oversight and management. He is one of five vice presidents with responsibility for service areas that support recovery goals and treatment for people with severe mental illness.
Rich holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Purdue University. His specialty areas include health psychology and organizational development. Previous positions include Director of Clinical Training and Associate Professor at Saint Francis University, Clinical Director of Parkview Behavioral Health, and Director of Behavioral Health at Lincoln National Insurance.
Laura Murphy, LMHC, CSAY
Vice President of Child & Adult Services
Laura has experience working in various settings including outpatient clinics, schools, residential, and home-based services. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Laura holds certification in Trauma-Focused CBT. She is also a Certified Sexually Abusive Youth clinician.
Laura is passionate about furthering the efforts of Trauma Informed Care across Allen County. She enjoys speaking about mental health and trauma and conducts frequent trainings within the community. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for Remedy LIVE, a suicide prevention organization in Fort Wayne and is a member of the executive team for The Landing, a teen ministry of Associated Churches.
Tom Allman, MA, LMHC, LCAC
Vice President of Substance Use Services
Tom Allman has spent the last sixteen years of his career providing and improving behavioral health services in the Allen County community through his role at Park Center. He obtained a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 1999. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor.
Tom aspires to draw partnerships between organizations for the purpose of enhancing service delivery for those in need of assistance. Tom has been active in a number of addiction-related community initiatives to improve integration of the behavioral health treatment network, healthcare, and criminal justice system. He is a frequent presenter on the treatment of mental health and substance use. In 2013, Tom was honored by the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly as a 40 under 40 award recipient.
