Medical
Services is staffed by licensed nurses, clinical nurse specialists and
psychiatrists. Park
Center
provides comprehensive medication services; including assessments, medication
reviews, pharmacy services, and injections, as well as health education.
Nursing Services are organized to provide quality nursing care to all
clients served by assisting in the identification of medical issues and
consultation on appropriate medical care.

Center’s non-residential Addictions Services are located in the same building, Park

The Addiction Services mission is to provide high
quality outpatient treatment services to adults and adolescents experiencing
alcohol and other drug addiction problems. Treatment, support, and educational
services are also available to families and friends coping with all stages of
the recovery process. Services include individualized and structured treatment
with the goal of achieving a sustained remission of symptoms and to help
facilitate the process of ongoing recovery. Other services include: addiction
psychiatric services, a drug and alcohol-free safehouse program, antabuse
monitoring, 24-hour intervention services, case management services, dual
diagnosis program, gambling addictions services and family support.
The New Freedom Program is a comprehensive day treatment program that provides
intensive case management and therapeutic services to individuals diagnosed with
both a severe mental illness and a substance abuse and/or dependence disorder.
Severe mental illness typically seen in this program are Schizophrenia,
Schizoaffective, and Bipolar disorders.
Individuals will receive structured
programming in this program that is geared towards reduction of the need for
hospitalization, decreased psychiatric symptoms while developing and
implementing a successful program of recovery.

LifePlan Employee Assistance Services

Lifeplan's Employee Assistance Services office
location has moved from the Wells Street site to the main Park Center campus off
State.
From the former location, take Wells Street south (toward
downtown) to the State Street stoplight. Turn left. Go past 3 stop
lights, and the main Park Center campus is located on your left in the middle of
the block in between Parnell and Kentucky Ave. Go left from State on to that
drive, and at the stop sign on the main campus drive, turn left - follow to the

Employee Assistance Plans (EAP’s) offer
employees and their families help in resolving personal problems that may impact
the employee’s job performance. All services are provided on a contractual
basis with the employer. Employee Assistance staff work with management/supervisory staff to identify, evaluate, and refer troubled employees
to appropriate professional resources. All services are confidential, and
services are rendered at the LifePlan office and on-site with most
