Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT)

(260) 481-2800

When individuals with severe mental illness won't come to us, the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) goes to them.

Persons suffering from serious mental illness often stop going to programs designed to help with their treatment or stop taking their medications.  This can lead to repeated hospitalizations which can disprupt the individual's life as well as the lives of family and friends.  When those with severe mental illness no longer come in for treatment, we have a solution:  we go to them.  The ACT team focuses on recovery planning and skills training and includes a wide range of staff, including psychiatric and nursing staff, clinical therapists, a care coordinator, and recovery and peer specialists.
