Park Center has a long history of providing residential services for youth, starting with the adolescent group home for girls in 1968. Years of experience, and the available resources of expert staff with a wide range of backgrounds, are advantages of Park Center programs. The group homes offer a therapeutic residential setting in the community for children/adolescents who are in need of placement outside their family home. These children may be victims of abuse and/or neglect in their own homes, are members of families in crisis, have various emotional problems which have led to maladjustments in their lives, and /or have become involved with juvenile courts because of delinquent behavior. They may be placed by their families, child welfare, or juvenile courts.
Currently, our group homes serve pre-adolescent and adolescent males. Appropriate referrals depend on current placements.
